Free Technology For Teachers: The Story of a lost sock.

This video really has nothing to do with technology integration, but it's Saturday night and even teachers need to be entertained. This is a cute story about what happens to that "one" missing sock from every load of laundry. I promise that tomorrow I'll get back to reviewing web applications for educators. I have some great stuff planned for next week.

Free Technology For Teachers: Education and Communication Shifts

Yesterday I posed a question regarding how much, if any, American public education has changed since the 1940's. This video is a a follow up to yesterday's video. This video is a variation on the "shift happens" video that has been circulating for the last year or so. The video below reminds us that China will soon have more internet users than any other country in the world. Are we teaching students the skills and knowledge they will need to compete with their Chinese peers? If we're not incorporating technology into our instruction as often as possible are we equipping our students properly?
