One of the more frequent requests for help that I get is for help in locating good educational games for elementary and middle school students. It is with those requests in mind that I put this list together. These are all sites that I've previously reviewed here on Free Technology for Teachers.

Wow, what a great resource you have provided. I would like to add one additional resource to the list that I had found for all of those elementary school teachers who are bored with Starfall, for a change try the road to reading at http://www.literactive.com/Home/roadtoreading.asp The road to reading is a blending of Earobics and Starfall, both or which are good, but students become bored utilizing the same activity. The Road to reading is designed for students pre-K through first grade or an English Language Learner.
I am in the process of looking at these activities for my students to use. Thank you for the valuable resource.
wow, these are great sources. One more to add to the list are http://sites.google.com/site/theches44 under download-tutorials, there are a few versions of leaf matching games that are good for Pre-k or younger. I actually created those games and are planning to release two interactive videos for Charles' Law and Boyle's Law in chemistry. Please let me know what you think of them.
It is really great to see learning resources shared like this, and I have another to add to the list. UMapper is a geography game that harnesses the mapping features of Microsoft's Virtual Earth to make learning geography fun. There are 2 versions: States and Countries and Capitals. These are free, easy to use, and a lot of fun. The ability to score points is a feature that will keep kids coming back again and again. This is a game best suited for ages 8 and up. I hope this is a resource that many of you find useful.
Have fun,
Nate
