Hi, you might want to have a quick look at the virtual graffiti tool we designed at www.deutschlern.net (german language learning website) together with TwitPaint.com . Students can paint the wall, leave their messages, comment and remix. We wanted to draw attention on one of the cultural aspects of the berlin wall http://www.berlinwallart.com/ . It was initially designed for German as a foreign language and is integrated on http://www.deutschlern.net/index.php?link=mauerspezial in a thematic site with more learning materials. Nevertheless it is an open project and we invite everybody to leave your virtual graffiti on the Berlin Wall
Using primary resources in the classroom allow students to interact with information in a more direct format. I have become very fond of using video media in my classroom. The form of media allows all students, regardless of their reading ability, access to quality information. While reading and comprehending in an important life skill, at times it is necessary for a teacher to step around what students struggle with and deliver content in other ways.
