It's hard for me to believe, but today is the second anniversary of Free Technology for Teachers. Without much of a clue as to what I was doing, I started this blog two years ago today. Two years later I've written nearly 2500 posts.

6 Months ago: 8500 subscribers, 80,000 page views/ month.

Happy Birthday Free Technology for Teachers! I am constantly telling others at my elementary school about you and the great resources you find for all of us.

Thanks, Richard, for devoting your time and for all the wonderful educational leads!

Rich - as one of your earliest readers, congratulations! You certainly have earned it and worked very hard to do get where you are. You have come a long way from where you were 2 years ago.

Happy blogversary

Remember that lunch where you said I get 10% hehehehe. We have to do a lunch with the WDL guys and Mark to celebrate your anniversary.

Wow, two years? only? it is my opinion that this is the best blog for teachers. I just can not express how clever and well thoughtout the material you present is for teachers. It is something I look forward to reading/receiving. I first learned about your blog while teaching in China - and of course it was blocked, but thanks to the miracle of RSS, I could get my personal copy of your writing delivered to my email. Only when I'm in non-blocked areas of the internet can I post a comment. I want you to know that I share your work with all the teachers I work with. Thank you and please keep it going! ~Kathleen

Harold,
Other than my mother, I think you might have been the first reader. :) Seriously though, the word of mouth from you and Jeff & Dan at WDL did help a lot early on.
Rich

p.s. yes, I remember that lunch :)

@Ann Oro, thank you.

@RRTT best of luck with your blogging efforts. My best advice is to just keep at it.

@Linda thank you for sharing with Elementary teachers. One of my goals is to include more K-6 materials in my posts.

@Kathleen, I'm glad that China doesn't filter RSS :)

@Loony Hiker, it is amazing how fast our "babies" grow up. :)

@Ramon, gracias
