How To Do 11 Techy Things In the New School Year

Earlier this week I published a list of 11 Techy Things for Teachers To Try This Year. As promised at the end of that post, I have created a free how-to guide for the things I listed. The 58 page guide embedded below is intended as quick-start guide for teachers who want to try something new in the 2010-2011 school year. The guide is a available as a free download.

How to Do 11 Techy Things in the New School Year

Whenever I publish a guide like this, people ask if they can print it or embed it into their own sites. The short answer is yes, just give proper attribution to Free Technology for Teachers.

I have been following your blog for about a month now, and I am very impressed by the quantity and quality of your posts!

The "11 Techy Things" is a great list. I plan on sharing it with all of my colleagues as I try to help many of them integrate more technology.

Hi,

I am new to blogging but for the last year my district has been doing a 1:1 pilot. I am going to share your site, and this post, with colleagues and reference it on my blog. Thanks for everything!

Fabulous post thanks you. I am teaching years 7 & 8 students in a small town in New Zealand with 1-1 Macbooks. Am always on the lookout for new tools to use. Am finding that there is so much out there that it can become overwhelming. Great to see clear instruction. If anyone out there would like students to collaborate and share ideas with mine, check out our wiki - www.fabulous14.wikispaces.com
