Kids.gov and Challenge.gov together are hosting an
infographic creation contest for kids. To enter the contest students have to create an infographic that explains the process of becoming President of the United States. The contest appears to be open to all K-12 students. The winner of
the contest will receive $2,500 and the winning infographic will be reproduced for distribution to schools across the US. The deadline for entries is November 3. Read all of the

I wonder if the winner will include the truth about how someone becomes president (i.e. make lots of promises, bash your opponents, raise more money than the other guy, etc.).

Geez Trevor, come on! Let kids be kids and have fun with this. As adults, we need to demonstrate a degree of respect for our government and the presidency, at least when relating to children. If this current trend continues, what child would WANT to be president? Let's keep with the spirit of the contest.
