September 11 - Your Memories Ten Years Later

The Guardian has developed a simple interactive collage of readers' memories of 9/11 ten years later. Clicking on any image in the collage will open up a dialogue box displaying that person's memory of their feelings when they learned the news of the attacks on the World Trade Center and on the Pentagon.

Applications for Education
If you're looking for an accessible resource for your students to explore on this last day of school before the tenth anniversary of 9/11, The Guardian's collage of readers' memories might be just what you need.

Free Stuff Friday - Curriki Tee Shirts

It's Friday and I have five free Curriki tee-shirts to give away. Curriki is a non-profit organization devoted to helping teachers develop and share lessons. It is free to join and participate in the Curriki community. Your contributions to community are encouraged.

To win one of the Curriki tee-shirts all you have to do is leave a comment on this post. In your post mention something that you learned about or shared on Curriki. At 6pm ET I will use Random.org to select five winners.
