A Visualization of Punctuation's Importance

This is a fun video that I saw at some point in the last ten days on Larry Ferlazzo's blog. Punctuation is Important is a thirty second animation of the difference a comma makes in a sentence. Enjoy!

Applications for Education
Challenge your students to create short animations of grammar and punctuation rules. They could use services like XtraNormal or Creaza Education to create their videos.

Week in Review - Change the Clocks

Good morning from Maine where winter seems to have set-in. I hope all of my friends in the northern climates are warm and toasty. And wherever you are I hope the weekend brings the rest and relaxation you deserve. If you're in an area that observes Daylight Saving Time, don't forget to change your clocks this weekend. Have you ever wondered why we change our clocks? In this video the CBS Fast Draw team explains why.
