Applications Open for the Google Geo Teachers Institute
The Google Geo Teachers Institute will be held in two locations this coming fall, Washington, DC and Lewiston, Maine. The institute is a free two day affair in which K-12 teachers will get lots of hands-on experience with Google Earth, Google Maps, and Google SketchUp. The overall goal is to get teachers to use these free Google products in creative ways in their classrooms. For more information, please read Google's announcement.
