Kids Bowl Free - A Summer Activity for Rainy Days

I had planned an outdoor activity for Mother's Day (a cruise in Casco Bay) but the pouring rain cancelled that plan. So instead we went to a relatively new bowling alley that had lots of other families this afternoon. The experience reminded me of a free program called Kids Bowl Free.

For the tenth year in a row Kids Bowl Free is offering two free games per day to students in the United States and Canada. Kids Bowl Free is a program funded by bowling alleys to provide students with a safe and fun activity during the summer.

To receive coupons for up to two free games of bowling per day, parents need to register on Kids Bowl Free. Each bowling center sets its own start and end date for the program so check the listings for a bowling center in your area.

Register Soon for Free Bowling All Summer

Just as they did last summer, bowling centers around the country are offering students two free games every day. To bowl for free students (or their parents) need to register on Kids Bowl Free beginning tomorrow. On Kids Bowl Free you can find the bowling alley closest to you. Sorry Mainers there are not any participating bowling alleys in our state.

Applications for Education
As the school year winds down and parents begin looking for summer activities for their children, Kids Bowl Free provides an option that won't break the bank. Kids Bowl Free is the type of non-academic information that I like to pass along to parents at parent-teacher conferences.

Free Summer Bowling for Kids

Here's something to pass along to students and parents who are looking for something to do when school ends this spring, free bowling. Kids Bowl Free is a program being run in bowling alleys across the United States. Use the map on the Kids Bowl Free homepage to find a participating bowling alley near you.

Thanks to Fred Delventhal's blog for the link.
